"Communicating Across Cultures in a Changing City” is a project initiated in 2019 by researchers at Howard University’s Department of Communication, Culture and Media Studies. The department and community partners hosted a series of facilitated, small-group neighborhood forums. This site is a digital toolkit with videos, discussion guides and materials that allow other groups to host their own forums, and continue the conversation about neighborhood history, identity and how technology is altering the social glue in communities.
